Neurotologists and audiologists worldwide deserve the best education on treating and preventing hearing complications.
International Curriculum Development
The House Institute is designing a curriculum to instruct best practices in the use of audiological technology in regions where adequate training does not yet exist. Initial modules will focus on hearing aids, best diagnostics, equipment usage, and more. They will be translated into Spanish and piloted at the Instituto Nacional de Neurosciencias in Mexico City. We anticipate developing a similar curriculum focused on surgical techniques and translating the curricula into several other languages to distribute around the world.
This curriculum project is one of many examples of how our global health efforts intersect with our mission to educate medical professionals worldwide.

International Training
We are partnering with several organizations and universities in Central America, South America, and Mexico to develop and fund the construction of permanent temporal bone labs. Our goal is to provide training on surgical techniques in regions where courses in temporal bone dissection and drilling practice for surgeons are not consistently available.
The House Institute Foundation also has a long history of welcoming Neurotologists from all over the world to learn these surgical techniques by observing our physicians. To date, we have hosted over 30,000 physicians from all 50 states and almost every country in the world.
